La sexta edición de la International Carers Conference se celebrará del 3 a 6 septiembre en la ciudad sueca de Gotemburgo bajo la organización de Swedish Family Care Competence Centre y de Carers Sweden and Carers UK.
Los especialistas que se darán cita en este encuentro compartirán conocimientos y experiencias con el objetivo de explorar y buscar soluciones eficaces ante el reto que para los sistema públicos de cuidados, y la sociedad en general, supone en cambio demográfico. En esta ocasión la International Carers Conference se centrará en cuatro temas principales:
· Salud, bienestar y asistencia social: ¿cómo las sociedades y economías modernas gestionar la atención frente a los cambios demográficos?
· Combinar trabajo y cuidado: ¿cómo podemos apoyar a las personas para gestionar su vida laboral y el cuidado, contribuyendo al negocio, la sostenibilidad económica y social?
· Pagar por el cuidado: ¿cómo podemos compartir los costos de la atención entre el individuo, la familia, la comunidad y el Estado?
· ¿Cómo pueden ayudarnos los avances tecnológicos en el cuidado?
Así, en este foro se darán cita especialistas de 30 países que trabajan en la búsqueda de soluciones a uno de los mayores desafíos del siglo: representantes gubernamentales internacionales; instituciones internacionales y europeas; organizaciones internacionales de cuidadores; agentes involucrados de temas de salud y cuidados a salud a nivel local; proveedores de servicios y productos para el cuidado, etc.
